Villada Michelle is a Boston based Latinx fashion designer who fuses harajuku fashion with internet culture, and a love for everything kitsch. Her use of bright colors, and materials that make you feel physically free, create a world less confined by gender politics, and elevate queer folks of color who are unafraid to stand out.

After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in fashion design and retailing from Framingham state university, Villada has been featured in Vogue Italia, The Boston Globe, and the Museum of Fine Arts Boston. After participating in the 2019 Project Upcycle, Villada met and collaborated with non-binary fashion designer Sam Pao, which led to an upcycled gender free collection titled “Fruit”. Currently, Villada is working on new collections for the winter and spring season of 2020-2021.
